     Banana is one of the most widely eaten fruits in the world and its distinctive features has made it possible for it to be recognize throughout the world. For instance, its bright colors, and shape. Banana scientifically belongs to the family of Musaceae which its derived it name (musa sapienta and musa nana) while plantain is (musa paradisiacal).


     The fruit banana is believed to have originated from India, but today is cultivated throughout the world because of its immense benefits to health. Banana is wonderfully sweet with firm and creamy flesh, packaged in yellow jackets and are available for harvest throughout the year. Banana fruits contains 50 to 150 bananas with individual fruits grouped in bunches.

     There are lots of benefits that banana propelled to health and it contains lots of nutrients ranging from vitamins to mineral etc. Banana contains 21.5 percent of vitamin B6, 17.1 percent of vitamin C, 16 percent of manganese, 12.2 percent of fiber, 12 percent of potassium, and 5 percent of calorie weighing up to 105.
